Michael joined the Gympie team in 2011 after completing his Masters degree at SCU Lismore where he was lucky enough to be mentored and taught by Mark Keyworth, the previous owner of Health Management Centre. In 2016 Michael and Samantha purchased the practice from Mark and they are committed to continuing his legacy of patient centred care.
Michael is passionate about holistic health and believes in each person’s ability to achieve optimal functionality. He approaches treatment as a generalist and has thus been lucky enough to treat people of all ages from newborns to centurions. Assisting people all over Australia and as far away as India to achieve positive health outcomes. With an expanding clinic Michael mentors all associates, having a close working relationship and an open door clinic policy. |

Angus has an interest in many different areas of osteopathy and always strives to bring his patients the best and most appropriate care. Considered a generalist, Angus is able to individualise his treatment strategy based on each presenting patient to maintain a holistic approach. Confident treating structurally he has is also competent practicing using functional and indirect treatment approaches as he considers some patients may respond better to these methods. With a focus on empowering the patient with adequate education regarding their complaint; and actively listening to and being empathetic towards their stories/goals/concerns, so he can work collaboratively with them (alongside fellow team members and other healthcare practitioners, when necessary) to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Consistent with these values, he often places a strong emphasis on psychosocial factors in his approach, skills which were refined during clinical placements at Windana Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation clinic and Sacred Heart Mission - a centre for homeless and disadvantaged people. With confident hands and a warm heart, he is a great asset to the HMC family.

Jamuna graduated from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine.
She enjoys treating a wide variety of people of all different ages and uses a broad range of techniques that she specifically tailors to the needs of the individual, to help get you back on track as soon as possible and be a healthier pain free version of yourself. Jamuna applies the principles of osteopathy in her treatments, which aim to restore the body to a state of balance from which it can best heal. She does this by optimising the quality of movements throughout the body and minimising the stressors that contribute to pain or discomfort. She sees every patient as being completely unique and focuses on the individual, listening to and hearing their story, understanding what they want from treatment and how osteopathy can help on their path to wellbeing. |
Kellie has been a bodywork practitioner since 2000 and more recently began treating clients using ENAR therapy. Her focus is therapeutic, treating the body with the intention of connecting and harmonising. In her massage treatments she incorporates acupressure (shiatsu) points with therapeutic flow techniques to give an enjoyable massage that provides results. Kellie caters to individual clients needs on any given day. Kellie is also able to provide ENAR (Electro Neuro Adaptive Regulator) treatments to clients experiencing problems associated with inflammation, swelling and scar tissue. We have seen great results for many conditions including bursitis, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder and more.
Highly intuitive and skilled in manual therapies, Kellie has treated a wide range of clients from professional athletes to the elderly, injured, those experiencing chronic pain and everything in between. Massage and ENAR make a brilliant complement to osteopathy treatment. |
